Established in 1978 under the guidance of the Missionary Sisters of the Queen of Apostles, the hospital has been steadfast in its commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality healthcare to all, regardless of caste, creed, or economic status.
With a humble beginning as a 150-bedded facility, St. Ignatius Hospital has evolved over the years, expanding its services and infrastructure to meet the evolving healthcare needs of the region. Surrounded by the St. Ignatius Health and Education Centre, St. Ignatius Institute of Health Sciences, and other vital institutions, the hospital forms the heart of a comprehensive healthcare ecosystem dedicated to serving the community.
